21st December 2007 - Addicted To Gaming.

I've been playing Unreal Tournament 2004 a lot over the internet on the Hounds Of Hell gaming clan server. I'm not part of the gaming clan but they let other people play on their server. It's good because they have custom maps and fake player bots that actually chat to you and taunt and moan about things. It takes a while before you realise who is a real person or not. It's one of those games that I play whenever I have nothing else to do.

I recently downloaded a game called RF-Online, it's free now to download and to play whereas before you had to pay a subscription. On my computer it's a bit slow and jerky, it's one of those games that requires a fast computer and good graphics card. I'm not very good at it and haven't got anywhere in the game. I'm a complete newbie even though I've been playing it a lot. I recently discovered that I have been playing it even when I did have other things to do and it's almost like an addiction. I think it's because it's like being a different person in another world that has it's appeal, the actual game itself is secondary to that feeling.

I've also got Guild Wars which is a similar type of game but it never had that same addiction to it. I was tempted to get World Of Warcraft but I don't like the idea of paying to play it online.
